Harleys in Argentina

As you now I am from Argentina. When I lived there once in a while I saw a Harley Davidson, as they were not as popular as here. The fact that price of the bikes with all the import duties make them REALLY expensive could be a reason.
But these last few years, more Harleys are on the streets and a couple of weeks ago in Mar del Plata the 1st International Harley Davidson Event took place. This city is 500km away from the capital city of Argentina, Buenos Aires. Mar del Plata is a beautiful city by the sea where every summer thousands of tourist spend their holidays there.
More than 150 "Harleros" (that's how people who own Harley's are called over there)from Argentina, Chile and other countries were present at this event. Here is the link to the article posted by the Argentine newspaper La Nacion. Argentine Harleys
